Frequently Asked Questions
Candles
Our candles are hand-poured in the UK using 100% soy wax and cotton wicks for a clean, even burn.
A full-size Utility candle offers approximately 45 hours of burn time.
Each candle contains 200g of 100% natural soy wax.
Let your candle burn until the wax pool reaches the edge of the jar each time you light it. This prevents tunnelling and maximises burn time.
Trim the wick to about 5mm before each burn and keep it away from drafts for an even flame.
Our candles are made with natural soy wax and cotton wicks, but it’s always best to burn them in a well-ventilated room and keep pets away from open flames.
Yes. Soy wax burns cleaner and produces less soot than traditional paraffin candles, making it better for indoor air quality.
Keep the wax free of debris, store it in a cool, dry place, and never burn it for more than 4 hours at a time. We have put together a few quick tips on how to care for your candles in our candle care guide.
Perfume Oils
Perfume oils are concentrated fragrance blends in a nourishing oil base, applied directly to the skin for a long-lasting, intimate scent.

Fragrance oils are the raw aromatic ingredients, while perfume oils are these fragrances blended with skin-friendly carrier oils (coconut oil) for direct application. Read our full blog about it: https://aeryliving.com/blogs/wellbeing-journal/fragrance-oils-vs-perfume-oils
