    Perfume Oils: What They Are

    Perfume Oils: What They Are

    What are Perfume Oils?

Perfume oils are concentrated oil-based fragrances that deliver a long-lasting, intimate scent directly to your skin. They’re personal, portable, and potent - designed to be carried in your bag, taken on your travels, and used whenever you want an instant refresh.

Our Utility Collection perfume oils are 10ml, making them perfect for on-the-go scent top-ups, whether you’re heading from the office to dinner or refreshing your fragrance mid-flight.

    How Are Perfume Oils Made?

Perfume oils are made by blending high-quality fragrance & essential oils with a nourishing carrier oil base. This gives them their smooth texture, skin-friendly feel, and ability to release scent slowly over time.

Our Utility Collection perfume oils are:

    • Hand-blended in the UK

    • Made with coconut oil as a gentle carrier oil that moisturise skin

    • Vegan and cruelty-free

    • Skin tested for safety and comfort

    Perfume Oils Composition

The composition of perfume oils combines a skin-loving carrier oil with concentrated fragrance oils. The carrier oil is coconut oil and it dilutes the fragrance to the perfect strength for direct skin application.

    How to Layer Perfume Oils?

Layering perfume oils lets you create a scent that’s truly yours. Wear fresher notes like fig or hinoki during the day for a clean, uplifting aroma, and switch to deeper scents like whiskey, oakmoss, or amber in the evening for a more sultry, sophisticated feel.

    Are Perfume Oils Safe?

Yes. Perfume oils are safe when they’re made with skin-tested, high-quality ingredients.
All our perfume oils are vegan, cruelty-free, and gentle on skin. For those with sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test before daily wear.

    Where to Apply Perfume Oils?

Perfume oils should be applied to pulse points, also known as pulsation zones. These warmer areas of the body - like the wrists, neck, temples, behind the ears, and inside the elbows -help the fragrance develop and last longer.

Fragrance Oils vs Perfume Oils: What's the Difference?

Fragrance oils are concentrated aromatic ingredients, while perfume oils are a ready-to-wear blend of these fragrance oils mixed with a carrier oil for safe skin application.

If you want to dive deeper into the topic, read our full blog: Fragrance Oils vs Perfume Oils.

    How to Apply Perfume Oil

Applying perfume oil is simple. Here’s how to get the best results:

    1. Moisturise first – hydrated skin holds scent longer.

    1. Dab onto pulse points – wrists, neck, behind the ears, inside elbows.

    1. Don’t rub – it breaks down the fragrance molecules.

    1. Layer for effect – combine scents for a signature blend.

    1. Reapply lightly – perfect for a quick refresh during the day.
